This was a very interesting article and you explained the science very well, Ken! Whilst reading this I did think back to something that I read about people who live in the Blue Zones (areas where there’s a high proportion of people who live quite a bit longer than the average).
The article that I read claimed that “people in all blue zones drink alcohol moderately and regularly" and that “moderate drinkers outlive non-drinkers".
I was wondering what your take on this is?
Personally as someone in their mid-20’s I actually go for long periods without drinking so I’m on your side about that. I find that there are a lot more benefits in my life if I don’t drink. I just found the Blue Zone pattern to be intriguing.
