I definitely agree that the friend zone can be a toxic place to be. Sometimes, however, there are stories where someone persisted and eventually that couple did fall in love with each other. But yeah, that doesn’t always happen either.

I guess in this kinda circumstance all you can do is work out how to be friends with that person, if possible. Currently struggling with this situation myself so it’s comforting to read your thoughts.
